Emmy Nominees Celebrate With GBK Gift Lounge

Alan Cumming at GBKIt’s always one of the highlights of Emmy Awards week in LA, and the mood is always celebratory at the annual GBK Gift Lounge honoring the 2015 Emmy nominees and presenters.

This season’s edition of the event was held on the tented rooftop of L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, providing a festive and fun environment where guests enjoyed refreshments, gifts and a green screen photo booth set up to record memories from the occasion with animated GIFs and stills by Foto Spark.

On the guest list, nominees Alan Cumming (“The Good Wife”), Beau Bridges (“Masters of Sex”), Jeremy Podeswa (Director – “Game of Thrones”), Khandi Alexander (“Scandal”), Richard Cabral (“American Crime”), Tony Hale (Winner – “Veep”) and stars from the hit series “Orange is the New Black” including Abigail Savage, Dascha Polanko, Emma Miles, Selenis Leyva and Julie Lake.

Scores of other celebrities and VIPs were in attendance over the two days, Friday and Saturday before the Emmy Awards on Sunday.

This year’s presenting sponsor was LifeCell, an all-in-one anti-aging treatment formulated to target every aspect of aging skin.

And as always at GBK events, several charities benefited, including Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Stray Cat Alliance, which educates and empowers the community to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy and valued, and American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) which relies strongly on American donors to support its life-saving operations in Israel.
