But the first thing I notice is her handbag, a shiny black patent number with gold zippers. “Wow, what a great bag. I love it,” I told her. “Thank you, I just got it,” she said.
“Whose is it,” I inquired, thinking for sure it was a Louis Vuitton. “Don’t laugh,” she said. “It’s from Forever 21. I get the greatest stuff there.”
So the first thing I did when I got home was Googled the handbag and sure enough, they are it was, in all of its glory– for the unbelievable bargain price of $24.90. Ordered!
And delivered promptly.
It’s already been out on the town in LA twice since receiving it less than a week ago–just in time for National Handbag Day. It’s a perfect size and has three interior pockets ideal for lipstick, lip gloss, mascara, eyedrops, condoms – did I say that? And of course, cell phone and business cards. Leaving the rest of the interior for wallet, sunglasses etc.
In addition to black, it’s also available in a fire engine red and a shiny cream.
