Producer Debbie Durkin prefers that her EcoLuxe Lounge events be held outdoors. But the weather on the Friday of Oscar weekend did not cooperate with her plans. She moved the event from the outdoor Wilshire Gardens of the Beverly Hilton to one of its indoor ballrooms because of the torrential rain.

So Durkin brought some welcome splashes of color indoors with large pieces by artist Rolland Berry to make her Oscar lounge even more festive.

Durkin specializes in bringing ecologically sound products to her events for guests to enjoy. This year, in addition to Berry, the sponsors were Madara Organic Skincare and Sandast Luxury Leather Goods.

Guests, including Cloris Leachman, Carly Steel, Caroline Hennessy and Drew Seeley and wife Amy Paffrath were treated to their products, along with wares from My Magic Mud, Octovie skincare brushes and Tumerica skincare.
