This has to be such an exciting time for those behind the scenes, including the providers of the swag bags thus providing exposure to a whole different cast of stars.

The Grammy's this year surprised me and totally entertained me. The variety of talent, from Taylor Swift to Katy Perry to Paul McCartney...all delivered in style and glitz. Most memorable to me, was watching the younger generation perform Glen Campbell's music and then seeing him come out in his trademark glitzy jacket and sing his heart out...with no evidence of him in early stages of Alzheimers...bravo!

It is always interesting to learn what types of goody bags are provided to guests...and just wish I were one of the lucky ones to receive them. I'm amazed to see what is given, but realize these companies are relying on celebrities to fall in love with their product and give it their seal of approval...providing companies, ultimately, with greater revenue.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Brandon at New World Communications. To many he was brilliant, clever, fun, and wildly successfull. While this is all true, for me, his greatest attributes and legacy was represented by his courage, humility, genorosity, and supportive nature. He has been and will always be missed. Sincerely-Rich Goldfarb.

This was a really fun event. I went to the mixology night at the Paramount lot. Lots of fun. Could have been more food, but there was plenty of alcohol to make up for that! Was feeling it just a little the next day.

I went to Fashion Night Out in Los Angeles this year and I have to say I was terribly disappointed. I grew up in a city where one can shop every night during the summer until 10pm or until the stores decide to close. I didn't see the big point. The food trucks weren't that exciting, and the stores weren't offering any discounts or sales. I think if FNO wants to be a success for the actual retailers, they should at least have "no sales tax" the night of shopping. There is no incentive for shoppers to shop.

Southwest has hoodwinked the public for so long, that it's way of doing business is considered the gold standard insofar as its customer loyalty base and reputation. Telling funny jokes and making the safety demonstration "entertaining" seem to inspire folks. All I can say is that I am in complete agreement with the author: Southwest Airlines is not customer service- oriented, nor is it a cheap low cost airline as far as ticket prices go.
