There are Emmy suites and then there are environmentally-friendly soirees, like the eagerly anticipated one put on every season by Debbie Durkin at the penthouse of the Beverly Hilton hotel.

The lounge utilizes the indoor/outdoor space with its stunning 360° views to feature green products and services for invited guests, who included legendary actors Dyan Cannon and Lou Ferrigno and Emmy nominees including Naomi Grossman, Miles Tagtmeyer, Kelly Jenrette and Emmy Board of Governors member Patrika Darbo.

But the greenest of the green was Bud Trader, which gifted grateful attendees with a, shall we say loaded bag including all kinds of marijuana accoutrements and accessories– including for pets.

The event is also known for its all day buffet brunch, served alfresco on the terrace.

Other participating vendors included Chariot Travelware, Jamaica Tourist Board, Kindred Bravely, Villa Eyewear with Blackfin and Italia Independent, Beauty Kitchen Junkie by Heather Marianna, Armani Wells, Pop Art by Gabe Gault, Planet Beach/Hotworx Spa, Strictly Vegan, and gift bags by artist Jeff Carter.

The event’s featured charity partner was With Our Words (WOW voices) a non-profit youth literacy group of diverse slam poets from Stockton, CA.
