Rainy weather couldn’t dampen the spirits as GBK Productions celebrated the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards at its two-day luxury lounge held January 4-5 at Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills.

Coming straight off the new year’s holiday, the celebratory mood continued as celebrities and nominees including Viola Davis, Angela Bassett, Danny Huston, Anthony Anderson and Spike Lee along with about 100 other VIPs and tastemakers were gifted with covetable goods and services from select vendors with items spanning the spectrum from jewelry to apparel, home décor, health and wellness, beauty and fitness and travel.

Among the guests were the cast of Netflix’s hit movie Dumplin’ with Dolly Parton-loving stars Danielle Macdonald, Luke Benward and Odeya Rush all stopping by the lounge at L’Ermitage.  Linda Cardellini, Mike Hatton and Dimiter Marinov of the five-time Golden Globe nominated film Green Book also attended as did the stars of other nominated shows and films including Indya Moore & Angel Curiel (nominated series Pose), Cole Allen, Juliet Morris & Bernard White (nominated series Kidding), Keidrich Sellati (nominated series The Americans), Darrell Britt-Gibson (nominated series Barry), Matilda Szydagis (nominated series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Michael Beasley (nominated series Escape at Dannemora), David S. Lee (nominated film Black Panther)  and Coleman Domingo (nominated film If Beale Street Could Talk.)

About 20 other brands participated in the festive soirée. Spike Lee jumped on a Story Electric Bike to check out the wheels. The director also loved Seraph Designs triple black hooded jacket and lots of celebs loved the LA-based clothing line’s hats, including Angela Bassett, Ryan Ochoa, London Brown and Scott Michael Campbell.

Comfitude was on hand with a novel product you didn’t know you needed until you got to touch and feel it: weighted velvet blankets that provide a feeling of security and a better night’s sleep. The New York City-based company also makes weighted comforters.

The Artisan Group – a collection of artists from all over the country– is always a favorite with GBK guests. They receive gift bags filled with one-of-a-kind handmade designs from jewelry makers, spa and bath products, cosmetics, candles and other handmade items.

Food and drink was in abundance from the beginning as guests were greeted with JCB Spirits signature cocktails, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Celebrities were also gifted with a JCB tasting party for 12 and a bottle of their choice.

Other gifts were provided by Chaz Dean’s WEN Hair and Body Care, Prospek Glasses, Nicole Frank, Wartther’s cutlery, wonderlash, men’s custom haberdashery Knot Standard, Go Donut, which provided ingenious stands for mobile devices to be used on desktops and Snow Teeth Whitening. STK provided gift cards to its acclaimed steak houses.

The two-day event also raised awareness for several nonprofit organizations, the Stan Lee Foundation and Peace 4 Animals, with reps for each group on-site to talk to the talent and press about their organizations. In the wake of the devastating California wildfires, NBC’s California Live partnered with GBK to provide Woolsey firefighter Kristina Dee Kepner a Golden Globes experience for her dedication for tirelessly fighting the fires for six straight days.  Food on Foot was also on hand, telling attendees about its mission to help the poor and homeless of Los Angeles through programs that provide nutritious meals, clothing, work opportunities and ultimately the transition to full-time employment and safe housing.

ADM Entertainment’s Adam Gomez provided music for the event, while Succulent Studios provided florals and Mosaic Public Relations promoted the lounge with talent and media.
