GBK sure knows how to get the party started, and by party we mean for the first big awards show of the new decade, just a few days after the calendar turned to 2020.
Taking over the penthouse of the trendy Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood, GBK Productions hosted some of the industry’s finest at its 2020 Golden Globes Celebrity Gift Lounge. It was a two-day soirée that brought everyone from Clippers coach Doc Rivers to Oscar winner Viola Davis and acting legend Bruce Dern through the doors on Globes weekend.
Once upstairs in the gorgeous space with a 360° panoramic view of the beautiful Los Angeles basin, they and other guests including Esai Morales, Anthony Anderson, storm Reid, James Tupper, Ashley Greene and Michael Madsen were gifted with more than $45,000 worth of goodies. And by goodies we mean trips to the Caribbean, electronics, jewelry, skincare and clothing.
As is GBK’s tradition, the guests – celebrities, VIPs and select media members–were treated to some of this season’s hottest items. That included beauty and health care by The Super Dentist, Dermafirm USA, Glenn Ivy Hot Springs, AKA Cosmetic, New England Hemp Farm, Harmony Proteins; Trips by Sailrock Resorts and S Hotel Montego Bay Jamaica presented by Swanky Resorts; Clothing & jewelry by Trico Field & ZuZu Kim; cool tech and gadgets by Silent Mode, Nature Bright Company, Go Easel, iiRcade, Genius and other gifts by Hestan Vineyards, La Boulisterie, Miyoko’s Creamery, Basic Vodka, Yowie Surprise Inside Chocolates, Secret Knock, West Coast Firepits, Gelato Festival and more.
The list of bold-faced names was lengthy and included a number of stars from Golden Globe-nominated movies and TV shows like Mike Moh (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Ashley Greene (Bombshell), M. Emmett Walsh & K Callan (Knives Out), Trace Lysette (Hustlers), Tzi Ma (The Farewell), and Katherine Narducci (The Irishman) among others. Also in attendance were the stars of Golden Globe nominated series such as Adina Porter & Victoria Tate (The Morning Show), James Tupper (Big Little Lies), Joel Johnstone & Matilda Szydagis (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Josh Stamberg (The Loudest Voice), Darrell Britt-Gibson (Barry) and Blake Ellis (Unbelievable).
