In addition to handing out the music industry’s most prestigious trophies, the Grammy stage is known for showcasing its best performers—and this year’s shows is already promising to boast some of the best in the business.

Brandi Carlile, Lizzo and Bad Bunny were just announced as performers for the 65th annual Grammy Awards when the show returns to Los Angeles on February 5. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the awards ceremony will take place at the Crypto.com  Arena (formerly Staples Center, where it’s been held many times in the past).

Mary J. Blige, Kim Petras and Sam Smith, Luke Combs and Steve Lacy are also slated to appear.

The Recording Academy is expected to announce additional performers in the coming days.

It’ll be Noah’s third year in a row hosting the spectacular event, which this year is packed with many talented nominees including Harry Styles, Lizzo, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Steve Lacy, Adele and Kendrick Lamar.

Beyoncé leads the way in nominations with nine, and ties the record for the most nominated artist of all time. Kendrick Lamar follows behind her with eight, and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven. Queen Bey’s album, Renaissance, is also up for album of the year, as well as “Break My Soul” being nominated for record of the year.

We’ve seen the Beyonce and Adele matchup back at the 2017 Grammys, with Adele winning five awards and Beyonce winning two. Both women are so incredibly talented, with such massive fan bases, that it’s exciting to see them both up for multiple nominations again in 2023.

This past year has been packed with many new and talented artists that will also be featured and recognized during the Grammy Awards. Artists including Omar Apollo, Latto, Wet Leg, Molly Tuttle, Maneskin, Muni Long, Anitta, DOMi & JD Beck, Tobe Nwigwe, and Samara Joy are all nominated, and we can’t wait to see who will deservingly take home the awards. The Grammys air on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
