LA Times Night Market is Around the Corner At Paramount Pictures Studios

The highly anticipated – and might I say the absolute best – food festival in Southern California takes over part of the back lot at Paramount Pictures Studios Friday, September 22 through Sunday, September 24.

The annual event kicks off with Fiesta Friday featuring Danny Trejo, Virgilio Martinez and Bricia Lopez, along with a host of restaurants including Blue Plate Oysterette, Coucou, Dino’s Famous Chicken, Eastside Cheesecakes, Fishing With Dynamite, Hotbox, LLove Hour, Mini Kabob, Moto Ramen, Paradise Dynasty, Tacos 1986, Tallula’s and Wanderlust Creamery.

The overall theme: turning up with the heat with Latin-inspired restaurants, cocktails and featured chefs.

Saturday night at the studio brings a new crop of taste sensations that epitomized the quintessential Los Angeles experience that make the city a world-class food destination.

Saturday Night Flavor (starting at 6 p.m.) will feature appearances by Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn (Le Du) and Food Network’s Aarti Sequeira (“Unwind: A Devotional Cookbook for the Harried and Hungry)

Among the participating restaurants and vendors: Amiga Amore, Caviar Kaspia, Evil Cooks, Fannie’s Restaurant and Café, Farmhouse Kitchen, Genghis Cohen, Loreto, Osteria Mamma, STK and The Brothers Sushi.

Friday and Saturday nights are restricted to guests 21 and up but Sunday brunch is open to everyone of all ages.

Beginning at noon, Backlot Brunch promises to be a family-friendly block party featuring everything you could ever want or as Sunday afternoon meal, enjoyed on the iconic studio back lot.

Chefs Marcus Samuelsson and Timothy Hollingsworth are scheduled to appear along with cookbook author and actor Tiffani Thiessen.
