The skies cleared and the sun came out for Golden Globes weekend in Los Angeles, making it the ideal environment for DPA’s Golden Gift Suite to really shine.
Held at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, the two-day event hosted dozens of well-known showbiz personalities, executives and Globes nominees, including a number who went on to be awarded trophies during the ceremonies Sunday night.
The luxury pre-awards event took over several garden suites at the landmark hotel, just west of the 405. It’s the latest in a 20-year history of prestigious events produced around the entertainment industry’s top awards shows by DPA, and its CEO Nathalie Dubois, who sources from all over the world a unique blend of products and services showcased for invited guests.
Yet there is always a focus of supporting local businesses. That was especially true as the area was marking the one-year anniversary of the devastating and deadly wildfires that swept through Altadena, Pacific Palisades and parts of Malibu.
Some of the participating vendors included Garikimot Vacation Rentals, Fazit makeup patches, Siyah Organics, Glo Me skincare, Eme’s Baked Goods, Vie Lorie x Balacia jewelry, The Artful Cut engraved glass, Coit Spirits, The Plumery haven for parrots, Von Vemian gowns and jewelry, STL fashions, Stingray spot remover, Sloan Seasonings and Anna’s Secret florist.
