The contest prize: a fragrance fit for royalty
The first days of May have already brought everything from global celebrations of love and marriage to celebrations of death, Osama bin Laden’s, of course. And now it’s time to celebrate moms. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8, in case you hadn’t heard. Enter to win our contest with these simple steps.

3. You will be randomly entered in a drawing to win a deluxe bottle of one of the world’s most expensive perfumes, Clive Christian 1872.
It’s a limited edition 10 ml spray bottle of the fragrance, which is named for the year that the perfumery was founded in England under the tutelage of Queen Victoria. (The 30 ml/1 oz size retails for $700 at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.) Its notes include bergamot, rosemary, lavender, lily of the valley and rose de mai, which blooms for only three weeks a year.
The house of Clive Christian also gave custom-made his and hers bottles of fragrance to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their recent wedding.
