If you don’t love the skin you’re in, you can adjust your diet to make it better, according to celebrity dermatologist Dr. Jessica Wu. The well-known skin doctor has just come out with a book called “Feed Your Face: Younger Smoother Skin and a Beautiful Body in 28 Delicious Days.”
The informative tome– filled with skin solutions, case histories, and even how to eat healthy foods while dining out– got a rousing launch at a soirée hosted by Kimora Lee Simmons at the Montage Residences Beverly Hills, adjacent to the luxurious Montage Hotel.
Guests were treated to specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres prepared with some of the healthy ingredients featured in Dr. Wu’s book.
She advocates that people can stop spending so much money on skin preparations that may not work and focus on the fact that what you eat has everything to do with the condition of your complexion. The book sets out a 28- day diet plan that the doctor says will help banish breakouts and wipe out wrinkles with the additional side effect of shedding some unwanted pounds.–a great prescription for overall better health.
In addition to Simmons, Dr. Wu’s celebrity clientele includes Maria Bello and Katherine Heigl.
