Pre-Emmy Pampering and Partying at Fig & Olive

It’s Emmy Week, but more than a hundred invited guests got a jumpstart on the all the awards festivities last week at West Hollywood’s Fig & Olive for Doris Bergman’s 4th Annual Emmy Style Lounge and Party.

 

The private event, honoring the upcoming 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, lasted all day and featured the restaurant’s specialties from the French and Italian Rivieras in a festive atmosphere inside the spacious restaurant and outside on its sun-dappled patio.

 

It was a colorful scene on a beautiful late summer day as select vendors offered an array of products and services to Emmy nominees, previous winners, presenters, stylists and industryites.

 

Among them, Dan Bucatinsky, who over the weekend scored the Emmy as Outstanding Guest Actor for his role in ABC’s “Scandal,” which was presented to him at the Creative Arts Emmys held at the Nokia Theater in downtown LA.

Other guests included Dot Marie Jones (Outstanding Guest Actress “Glee”), Chelsie Hightower, Sharna Burgess & Gleb Savchenko (“Dancing With The Stars”), Kate Flannery (“The Office”), Ian Patrick (“The Neighbors”), Mary Murphy (“So You Think You Can Dance”), Rich Sommer (“Mad Men”), RJ Mitte (“Breaking Bad”), Robert ‘RJ” Wagner & his daughter Katie, Dylan Neal (“Cedar Cove”), Ed Begley Jr. & Rachelle Carson, Eric & Eliza Roberts, Illeana Douglas, Tracy Tweed, Obba Babbatunde, Chase Masterson (Star Trek:  Deep Space Nine”), Estella Warren, Katrina Norman (“Hit The Floor”), Nicholas Guest (“Sons of Anarchy”), Sofia Milos, Michael Grant (“Secret Life of the American Teenager”), Adrienne Janic (“Fit, Famous & Fabulous”), Sean Kanan (“General Hospital”), Alicia Lagano (‘The Client List”) and Joelle Carter (“Justified”).

In the spirit of giving back, guests donated new and unwrapped gifts for children ages 13-18 for a Pre-Holiday Gift Drive benefiting “Wednesday’s Child,” a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with anchor Christine Devine. It highlights “harder to place” children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families. Bergman also invited two of the foster kids to her event so they could join in the festivities and experience all the support given to the program.
